Earth's Atmosphere

Without atmosphere the Earth would look like the moon. It would have huge creators that don't go away. Also you can see some of these creators from Earth, especially when it is a full moon. The earth's atmosphere burns up comets or any meteors that would hit the earth. This is really good for us because the Earth would look like the moon. The atmosphere is made up of gases; the gases are what burns up the comets. By the 1800s scientists such as John Daton recognized that the atmosphere was composed of several chemicals. This makes the Earth different from the other planets without atmosphere. My example of this is the moon with all the creators and how Earth can get creators like the moon because of the atmosphere. Also if the comets don't get burnt up they burn up way smaller so they don't do as much damage.
